Each dot is a California high school — placed left→right by the school's male UC admit rate (among that school's UC applicants), colored by the share of the whole grade-11 boys' class exceeding both SBAC standards (all junior boys, not just applicants — most never applied). Larger dot = more male applicants. Color and position describe different groups, so a dark dot on the left doesn't mean the campus turned away high-scoring boys.
